What is Training Services?

Workplace training in Great Britain is a fundamental requirement for ensuring health, safety, and competence among employees. Employers are obligated to provide relevant training to their staff, ensuring they understand and can manage the risks associated with their roles. This training includes health and safety protocols, specific job skills, and emergency procedures. Regular updates and refreshers are also necessary to maintain a safe and productive work environment, ensuring compliance with legal standards and promoting a culture of continuous improvement and safety awareness.

RQF Health and Safety

Level 1 – Half-Day Health and Safety in the Workplace course (4 hours). This is an        excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit any      worker, in any industry or sector and accommodates induction training for the new employee very well, or for those returning to work after a long absence so that Health and Safety legislation can be updated.

Level 2 – 1-Day Health and Safety in the Workplace course (6 hours). This is an             excellent introduction to health and safety in the workplace and will benefit all        employees, particularly those who may be accepting a health and safety role, such as a safety representative within their organisation.

RQF Fire Safety

Level 1 – This Half-Day Fire Safety Awareness course (4 hours) is designed for all employees as an introduction to basic fire safety awareness and is an excellent ingredient in the induction programme of new employees. The qualification   also provides a foundation to those employees who want to develop their fire safety awareness.

Level 2 – 1-Day Fire Safety course (6 hours). This course is designed for employees       who want to develop their basic fire safety awareness in order to assist their       employer by undertaking more specific fire safety roles in the workplace to manage fire risk (e.g. as fire wardens/marshals/stewards etc).

RQF First Aid at Work

This type of training can be accredited or be developed in-house. Manual handling training in the workplace is governed by specific regulations and guidelines to ensure the safety and health of employees. All employees         must be properly trained as this can significantly reduce the risk of upper or lower limb injuries related to manual handling tasks.
